Anita Morrison Taylor was born in London and currently lives in Rome. Combined with her art practice, Anita is a University Lecturer, Curator and Art Consultant. In 2019, she founded the ‘Finestra Temporale’ creative collective with two other Rome-based artists. She studied Fine Art drawing and painting at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen and went on to study for a Masters in European Fine Art at Winchester School of Art in Barcelona. After her studies she lived and worked in London and painted at ACME, Space and Wimbledon Art Studios. All of these experiences influenced Anita’s work from her school years which were spent in the Scottish Highlands to her current home in Italy.
The beauty, light and scale of her surroundings all form part of the dialogue central to her work through the use of colour, gesture, process and material combined with an observation and play on pictorial tensions.
Anita Morrison Taylor è nata a Londra e attualmente vive a Roma.
